How much are custom or wedding cakes?
While there is no standard price list for custom or wedding cakes, custom cakes average around $50 – $500, and expect to spend $500 – $4500 on your wedding cake depending upon size and design complexity. We do our best to create custom designs tailored to your big day while staying within your price point.
Do you only make custom cakes?
Custom cakes are our specialty, but we also offer a variety of other treats for special order including dinner party cakes, cupcakes, truffles, and painted cookies. Dinner party cakes start at $48 and baby cakes at $24. Cupcakes are $2.50 each. Truffles and painted cookies are $24 per dozen. All dinner party cakes, cupcakes, truffles, and painted cookies are tastefully decorated and require at least a 24 hour advance order placement.
What are your hours?
We are at the bakery every day putting together custom orders, but we are currently only open on First Fridays of each month. We are otherwise available by appointment. Please call 706-255-7316 or email bigdaycakes@gmail.com, and we are happy to set up a time for a personal consultation.
How far in advance should I book my custom order?
We encourage you to schedule a design consultation and tasting as soon as your event date is determined, as we will only accept a limited amount of bookings per week to ensure each custom order is given appropriate attention to detail.

Can I choose more than one flavor?
Cakes with multiple tiers or layers can have as many flavors as there are tiers. There is no extra charge for selecting more than one cake or frosting flavor. Consider ordering extra cake if you choose multiple flavors since some guests may have samplings of each!
What are the delivery charges?
Complimentary delivery for custom cakes is available within a 30 mile radius of downtown Augusta. Deliveries to Atlanta, Charleston, Savannah, and Hilton Head areas are $200. Other destinations will be determined individually.
